Job Opportunity: Desktop Technical Specialist

The desktop technical specialist plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between IT teams and end users, ensuring seamless communication and support.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and categorizing issues, either resolving them using internal resources or coordinating with the right support personnel to ensure timely resolution.
  • Incident management is critical, including accepting, resolving, and escalating issues via live chat, email, or other designated channels.
  • A strong understanding of office management software and IT service support is essential, including Microsoft Office suite and email systems.
  • Troubleshooting complex software-related issues independently, beyond basic reinstallations, is key.
  • Prior experience with server racking and cabling is an added advantage, as well as proficiency in both English and Mandarin/Chinese for regular communication with stakeholders across regions.
