Pastry/Bakery Team Member

Job Scope
As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and presentation of pastries and baked goods.
- Collaborate with our chefs to ensure the highest quality of products.
- Adapt to changing business needs and be willing to work a variety of shifts.
- Maintain focus and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Follow established work lists and complete tasks within set timeframes.
- Participate in company training programs and adhere to our culinary philosophy.
- Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and take pride in your work.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain high standards of personal grooming and ensure good customer relations.
- Report to work on time and adhere to culinary department schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor food production to ensure compliance with recipes and specifications.
- Ensure quality and presentation of food items meet our standards.
- Store food products properly and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Participate in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Degree or diploma in Patisserie or Bakery.
- 1-3 years of experience in a pastry or bakery profession.
- Basic cooking and sanitary knowledge.
- Ability to identify and differentiate raw materials and cuisines.
- Basic cooking preparation techniques and knife skills.
- Professional appearance and willingness to work shift work.
You will be expected to adhere to our company's rules, regulations, policies, and procedures at all times.
