Customer Service Associate (Bank Teller)

About the Role

We are seeking a high-calibre professional to join our team as a Customer Service Associate (Bank Teller). This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring that operational procedures are maintained and complied with, and performing various banking services tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely implementation of internal and external audit points, and address any issues raised by external regulators.
  • Assist customers with their transactions, including cash withdrawals, deposits, transfers, and bulk cash handling.
  • Process customers' banking services instructions, handle group emergency withdrawals, and perform cash balancing duties.
  • Execute backend tasks in a timely manner, including e-enclosure duties, sorting and dispatching mail, and performing faxswitch duties.
  • Provide support in handling internal operational duties, including maintaining safe deposit box administrative duties.
  • Assist customers on safe deposit services, including opening and closing accounts, accessing lockers, and handling customer enquiries.

Requirements

  • Holder of GCE O Levels or Higher NITEC qualification.
  • Relevant customer service experience in a financial institution.
  • Customer-oriented with strong interpersonal and communications skills.
  • A team player who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic retail banking environment.
  • A self-starter who can work independently and under minimal supervision.
