Department Overview
The Group Technology and Operations (GTO) division is responsible for software and system development, IT support services, and banking operations. By centralizing and standardizing technology components in Singapore, GTO creates a robust global framework that supports regional subsidiaries and branches worldwide.
Role Overview
As a member of the Wholesale Operational Readiness Centre, you will play a crucial role in supporting Cash Management, Trade Finance, Loans, and Channels Operations Centers. Your responsibilities will include the effective implementation of technological changes, reviewing requirements from an end-user perspective, and ensuring successful execution through comprehensive testing, training, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and functional specifications documents.
- Acquire proficiency in TOSCA, a software testing tool utilized at UOB for designing test cases and automating end-to-end testing.
- Comprehend test case designs developed in TOSCA for technology changes.
- Lead testing delivery in alignment with the test strategy and plan.
- Create instances in TOSCA for various test data combinations.
- Execute exploratory test cases and document issues using the defect tracking tool, Jira.
- Automate test cases in TOSCA for designated modules.
- Log defects in the tracking system and ensure resolution follow-up.
- Conduct training sessions for affected operations and business users.
- Provide post-implementation support to operations users.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma holder.
- Previous experience in manual or automation testing, ideally within supply chain or trade finance projects.
- Essential operations experience in Cash Management, Trade Finance, Loans, or Channels operations.
- Proficient in computer skills.
- Strong analytical capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
