About the Group Technology and Operations Department
The Group Technology and Operations (GTO) division is responsible for delivering software and system development, IT support services, and banking operations. By centralizing and standardizing technology components in Singapore, GTO creates a robust global infrastructure that supports regional subsidiaries and branches worldwide. The Operations divisions focus on providing transactional services while enhancing cost efficiency through process improvements and automation.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will oversee the Wholesale Operational Readiness Centre Operations (WORC), facilitating support for Wholesale Transaction Banking and Operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading a team to ensure operational readiness for technology transitions impacting business and operational users.
- Managing personnel and related operational matters.
- Overseeing operational risk management during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and parameter maintenance.
- Administering the departmental budget on an annual basis.
- Developing the yearly Business Operating Plan (BOW) and aligning costs with stakeholders.
- Mitigating risks associated with UAT and parameter maintenance.
- Formulating and executing efficiency enhancement plans while achieving established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Ensuring the team comprehends requirements and successfully completes UAT under defined conditions.
- Guaranteeing comprehensive training for end users, enabling them to implement necessary changes.
- Monitoring adherence to timelines and making adjustments as needed.
- Preparing and submitting management reports.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Operations and Project Management.
- Proven experience in managing large teams.
- Strong analytical capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in computer applications.
