About the Group Technology and Operations Department
The Group Technology and Operations (GTO) division is responsible for delivering software and system development, IT support services, and banking operations. We have centralized our technology components in Singapore, establishing a robust global framework that supports our regional subsidiaries and branches worldwide. This architecture enables us to provide a secure and adaptable banking infrastructure across 19 countries.
Our Operations divisions are dedicated to delivering transactional services while emphasizing cost efficiency through process enhancements, automation, and streamlined operations.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will oversee the Wholesale Operational Readiness Centre Operations (WORC), which supports Wholesale Transaction Banking and Operations. Your focus will be on the effective implementation of technological changes, ensuring that user requirements are understood and addressed, and that thorough testing, training, and documentation are conducted for operational users. WORC is also tasked with maintaining user-defined system parameters.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Leading a team to provide operational readiness support for technology changes impacting business and operational users.
- Managing personnel and related operational matters.
- Overseeing operational risk associated with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Parameter Maintenance.
- Administering the department's annual budget.
- Developing the annual Business Operating Plan (BOW) and coordinating associated costs with stakeholders.
- Managing risks linked to User Acceptance Testing and Parameter Maintenance.
- Formulating and executing efficiency improvement plans while meeting agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Ensuring team members comprehend requirements and successfully complete UAT under defined conditions.
- Guaranteeing that training sessions for end users are effectively conducted, enabling them to implement necessary changes.
- Ensuring adherence to timelines and taking corrective actions as needed.
- Preparing and submitting management reports.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Operations and Project Management.
- Proven experience in managing large teams.
- Strong analytical capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in computer applications.
