Insurance Operations Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking an Insurance Operations Specialist to join our team at PropNex.
About the Role:
The Insurance Operations Specialist will be responsible for handling general administrative and operational duties, sourcing quotations from insurers, attending to phone and email enquiries, and performing policy processing duties such as new insurance policies, renewals, changes, cancellations, claims etc.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of general insurance products and will be able to market them effectively. They will also be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) and have good communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle general administrative and operational duties
- Sourcing quotations from insurers
- Attend to phone and email enquiries
- Perform policy processing duties such as new insurance policies, renewals, changes, cancellations, claims etc.
- Market general insurance products
- Keep up-to-date with various general insurance products from different insurers and compare the various features
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Requirements:
- Minimum GCE 'O' Level
- Candidates who possess certificates in general insurance (CGI, PGI, HI and BCP) will have an added advantage
- Candidates with more years of relevant experience may be considered for executive position
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
- Customer-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills
- A good team player with ability to work independently
Working Arrangements:
- 5-day work week, Mondays to Fridays (9.00am to 6.00pm)
