Insurance Specialist

As a key member of our team at HOWDEN INSURANCE BROKERS (S.) PTE. LIMITED, the Insurance Specialist will play a crucial role in managing client accounts and providing expert advice on commercial insurance solutions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with team members to review client accounts, negotiate renewals, and provide technical expertise to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Support colleagues by completing day-to-day tasks, generating calendars, and coordinating with senior professionals and business accounts.
- Manage account concerns, address problems, and develop a deep understanding of client businesses through research and analysis.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurers, colleagues, and network partners worldwide.
- Proactively manage tasks and propose resolution options.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree qualification with 1 to 2 years of experience in the insurance industry.
- Preferably with IMAP or ACII Accreditation and a completed bond with a current employer.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and meticulous.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Able to multi-task and work well under pressure.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate across organizational levels.
