Job Title: Senior International Insurance Services Specialist

Location: Singapore

The Opportunity:

As a Senior International Insurance Services Specialist at Zurich Insurance Company, you will play a key role in supporting the execution and servicing of international insurance programs. You will develop strong partnerships with underwriters and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality services and ensure the successful implementation of global insurance programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage international insurance programs, including handling and resolving day-to-day issues, performance monitoring, and participating in service review meetings.
  • Act as an account representative to customers and brokers, providing services and support across the worldwide network.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Handle multiple lines of business, including Property, Financial Lines, Liability, Marine Cargo, and Casualty insurance.
  • Design and manage operational action plans to meet operational KPIs and prioritize service delivery to customers.
  • Proactively escalate potential issues to relevant stakeholders and investigate and resolve escalations efficiently.
  • Allocate work, provide coaching and guidance to the team, and monitor operational processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Diagnose and provide business solutions for value-added services and address customer-specific solution management.
  • Support underwriters and relationship leaders in enhancing international program solutions as a service and network specialist.
  • Prepare and deliver service presentations to brokers and customers as required.
  • Provide program overviews and statistics by producing reports from the reporting platform.
  • Identify and comply with main principles relevant to legal and regulatory controls that govern standard work practices.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to follow up and manage cash collection.
  • Supervise and quality-assure data quality and integrity in systems used.
  • Perform quality checks on data entry before information is sent to the network.
  • Lead various projects and monitor and control allocated human and material resources assigned to project work.
  • Ensure the successful completion of projects by maintaining continuing dialogue with various stakeholders during implementation of major projects.
  • Perform reinsurance maintenance and coordination with all internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Commercial Insurance or equivalent qualification.
  • 5 or more years of experience in commercial insurance (insurance companies or brokers), with Property, Financial Lines, Marine Cargo, and Casualty insurance required.
  • Prior experience with international insurance programs and/or captives and/or reinsurance accounting required.
  • Prior experience to lead, contribute, and support the design, testing, and implementation of various operational projects.
  • Open-minded, ability to work and adjust with people from different backgrounds, countries, and cultures.
  • Strong analytical and planning skills with ability to effectively manage changing priorities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people in a variety of roles and at a variety of organizational levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent networking skills.
  • Self-motivated with an ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent analytical skills with an ability to turn data into useful information.
  • Attention to detail (important for both IT systems and policy documentation).
  • Ability to anticipate and to look proactively for the necessary information.
  • Ability to organize and host internal conference calls with different departments.
