**About the Role:**
We are looking for a skilled Sales Development Professional to join our team and contribute to the growth of our strategic products or product groups in defined markets. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and providing technical knowledge to support their business needs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the life sciences industry and experience in field sales, preferably with laboratory/process-based experience. You will also be proficient in using CRM systems, such as SFDC, to manage sales activities and customer interactions effectively.
As a Sales Development Professional, you will work closely with our Account Management & Application Specialist teams to manage the opportunity lifecycle and achieve sales targets. You will analyze data from our CRM system to identify trends, generate customer insights, and track sales performance.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Initiating and managing the full sales process, from lead generation to after-sales, in close alignment with Account Managers.
- Actively using SFDC to manage and document leads and opportunities, all customer interactions, and sales activities.
- Analyzing SFDC data for assigned customers to identify trends, generate customer insights, and track sales performance.
- Maintaining the CRM with relevant and up-to-date customer and sales opportunity information.
- Developing and achieving product/product group targets with a clear focus on seeding and spec-in activities to drive sales growth by identifying new opportunities at customer sites.
