You will be responsible for delivering orders in accordance with our business goals, fulfilling the mix of System Sales and Product Sales within the HUB APAC region, and achieving expected profitability.
About the Role
This role involves leading our sales efforts in the APAC region, working closely with our marketing and product teams to develop and execute business strategies. You will be responsible for growing the Automation and Communication business by analyzing profitable potentials, focusing on new segments, customers, and channels, leveraging local Sales organization and a network of Distributors and Channel Partners. You will also lead the Local Sales Units with technical and commercial expertise to sell their Automation and Communication offerings, consolidate leads, opportunities, initiatives, and orders intake, and shape Global Product Group needs for the region.
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver orders in accordance with business goals
- Grow the Automation and Communication business by analyzing profitable potentials, focusing on new segments, customers, and channels
- Lead the Local Sales Units with technical and commercial expertise to sell their Automation and Communication offerings
- Consolidate leads, opportunities, initiatives, and orders intake
- Shape Global Product Group needs for the region
- Prepare AC sales plans using company tools, perform regular status reviews, propose recovery plans for potential order shortfalls, and lead direct negotiations
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a bachelor's degree and possess sales management skills, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. You will also need leadership skills to manage direct reports and indirect reports in a matrix organization, as well as experience in the Electrical Industry within Utilities, Power T&D, or Power Systems projects, especially in Substation Automation & Communication. Additionally, you should be aware of industry Quality standards, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement methodologies, and have advanced computer skills across MS Office, MS Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint.
