Civil Cost Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Cost Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting detailed cost assessments for civil construction projects.

As part of this position, you will provide specialized Preconstruction and Post-Contract support for large-scale civil works and transit infrastructure projects.

You will conduct thorough cost estimation and reviews for civil construction projects, starting from the planning and design phases through to the construction phase.

Additionally, you will handle project management and construction management tasks, such as constructability and risk assessment, while collaborating with project teams to understand technical requirements and specifications.

Working closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors, you will gather essential information for precise cost evaluations and project execution.

This role requires strong skills in cost analysis, change order evaluation, and negotiation. You should have a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related construction field, along with at least 15 years of experience in providing cost estimating support for heavy civil construction projects, including transportation and water infrastructure.

Apart from technical expertise, you should possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The compensation for this position ranges from $105.00 to $140.00 per hour, with both Part-Time and Full-Time positions available.
