Senior Construction Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Senior Construction Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a crucial role in the success of our projects.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and quantity surveying, with excellent analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- To study contract documents and perform measurements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- To assist in contract administration, prepare progress claims and liaise with clients on claims and variation costs.
- To call quotations, compare prices and prepare bills of quantities for tender pricing.
- To prepare budget statements monthly and review them with senior quantity surveyors/contract managers.
- To review and verify subcontractors'/suppliers' claims and prepare payment certificates.
- To attend site meetings, progress claim meetings and tender meetings.
- To monitor projects during the defects liability period and maintain quality systems.
- Minimum degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quantity surveying or related field.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Bluebeam and project scheduling software.
