We are seeking a skilled Senior Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the construction industry and be able to effectively manage various stakeholders.
The successful candidate will possess excellent negotiation skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and have a strong understanding of construction principles, including valuation, quantity surveying, architectural drawing, administration, estimates, procurement, AutoCAD, team player, civil engineering, tendering, pricing, sourcing, and cost control.
- Monthly Progress Claims: Prepare and submit accurate and timely claims to clients, ensuring seamless communication and payment.
- Sub-Contractors Administration: Manage sub-contractors by issuing purchase orders, work orders, main contractor's instructions, and valuations of claims, as well as assessing variations and certifying payments.
- Preparation of RFAI, Measurements, and Variation Claims: Take off quantity measurements for both architectural and structural elements, prepare and submit variation claims, and negotiate cost submissions with clients' consultants.
- Taking Off Quantity Measurements: Accurately measure quantities for architectural and structural elements.
- Key Skills: Excellent negotiation skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong understanding of construction principles.
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as construction management or civil engineering.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
