Job Title: Senior Construction Estimator

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Taking off quantities, sourcing sub-contractors and suppliers is a key aspect of this role. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pre and post tender administration.
  • Monitor, track change orders, sub-contractors drawing list and materials delivery to ensure projects run smoothly.
  • Prepare quantity measurement, costing and estimation for pre and post contract administration to ensure accurate valuations.
  • Evaluate and certify sub-contractor's progress payment to maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
  • Tender for new project opportunities to drive business growth.
Experience & Skills:
  • Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying or equivalent is required for this position.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in the construction industry is necessary to succeed in this role.
  • Good knowledge in pre and post tender administration is essential to excel in this position.
  • The ability to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, a good team player & able to meet tight deadlines is crucial.
Negotiation, Construction, Quantity Surveying, Change Orders, Drawing, Administration, Procurement, Project Administration, Team Player, Civil Engineering, Cash Flow, Tendering, Pricing, Sourcing, Able To Work Independently are all essential skills for this role.
