This pivotal position focuses on establishing strategies within South Korea to enhance the overall objectives of the Asia Pacific region. The role encompasses supporting business growth initiatives, including the management of existing Network-to-Network Alliance and Diners Club Franchise partners, while also proactively identifying and securing new opportunities for expansion in South Korea.

As a key player in business development across various countries, regions, or sectors, this role serves as the primary relationship manager for multiple intricate partner connections. Conducting market assessments and business development tasks is essential to drive profitable sales volume, card usage, revenue, and acceptance. The individual will be responsible for effectively managing and escalating risks and customer-related issues in their daily operations.

This position is based in Singapore, with regular travel expected to South Korea and other regional locations. Additionally, the role supports the broader Asia Pacific region as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversees partnerships to ensure growth and profitability
  • Collaborates internally and externally to uncover new business prospects
  • Enhances transaction volume and partner experience for sustainable growth
  • Facilitates new business development efforts in South Korea
  • Maintains comprehensive business relationships with existing Network-to-Network Alliance and Diners Club Franchise partnerships

Essential Qualifications

What is required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Marketing
  • 8+ years of experience in Payments, Relationship Management, or Marketing
  • In lieu of a degree, 10+ years of experience in Payments, Relationship Management, or Marketing
  • Demonstrated experience in business development and relationship management within an international card scheme, fintech organization, or payment services provider
  • Proven track record in developing business and managing partnerships in South Korea
  • Fluency in Korean and English (speaking, reading, and writing)
