Job Title: Key Account Strategist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced business development professional to lead our key account strategy. As Head of Business Development, you will be responsible for driving growth through strategic partnerships, identifying new opportunities, and executing licensing deals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to expand therapeutic areas and product types.
  • Identify and assess emerging market trends, competitor activities, and partnership opportunities.
  • Lead deal negotiations covering term sheets, license agreements, supply/distribution agreements, and alliance frameworks.
  • Oversee cross-functional due diligence to ensure robust evaluation of assets.
  • Prepare and present business cases, risk assessments, and financial analyses to the Board.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in business development or licensing within pharmaceutical industry; prior exposure to biosimilars and/or complex generics highly valued.
  • Proven track record in executing licensing deals and managing alliances with multinational pharmaceutical and biotech partners.
  • Financial literacy, including valuation methodologies and P&L management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and cross-cultural stakeholder management skills.
