Main Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Events Manager to join our team at Mandai Wildlife Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving events sales and curating events in the social and corporate segments, with a focus on the wedding industry.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase local client contacts and drive business growth.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with business associates, government agencies, and other stakeholders to develop the brand and create new business opportunities.
  • Prepare sales collateral, quotations, and presentations to close business deals.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences and represent our brand as a liaison with partners.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets as an individual and contribute to the team's revenue targets.
  • Coordinate pre-event discussions, site inspections, and event arrangements to ensure seamless execution.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to events and maintain accurate records.
  • Update and maintain sales databases and leads tracking lists regularly.
  • Collaborate with the F&B and Business Development teams to deliver personalized services and total customer experiences.
  • Ensure consistency and sustainability of work processes from order processing to billing.
  • Handle customer communications in a timely and professional manner, adhering to company guidelines and policies.
  • Contribute to the growth and improvement of the sales function with proactive suggestions and recommendations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Events, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in driving events sales and curating events in the social and corporate segments, preferably in the wedding industry.
  • A strong network of business contacts and sales-driven results.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a high degree of personal energy, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Critical thinking, strategic mind, and problem-solving skills to identify risks and provide proactive suggestions.
  • A proactive team player with a positive attitude and determination to succeed.
  • Availability to work on weekends and public holidays for events.
