About This Opportunity



We are seeking an exceptional leader to shape our Marketplace business in Singapore. As a key member of our Amazon Asia-Pacific Holdings Private Limited team, you will drive growth and innovation in this critical area.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze opportunities and develop strategies to expand our Marketplace business through new channels and programs.

• Define drivers of success for these channels, including selection, quality, customer satisfaction, partner health, traffic, and operational success.

• Develop and manage relationships with key partners to increase relevant selection, add value, and convenience for our customers.

• Collaborate with local and WW leadership teams to define strategy and product roadmap development.

• Deliver against Selling Partner Recruiting and Selection goals, closely monitor operational performance, and escalate and course correct as needed.

A Day in the Life

As Head of Marketplace, you will lead a team of managers and account managers who recruit and manage Selling Partners into the Seller Prime program. You will work cross-functionally with finance, operations, and product teams to develop operational plans and financial outlooks.

• Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement business plans and strategies.

• Analyze performance metrics to understand progress and areas for improvement.

• Drive business reviews with regional and global leadership teams and WW stakeholders.

• Develop and evolve marketing approaches and content for both your team and Selling Partners.

Requirements

• Master's degree in business, math, or a related field; MBA from a top business school considered a plus.

• Proven analytical skills and experience in Excel, data warehouse (ideally SQL).

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.

• Strong business acumen, with a proven track record of driving growth and innovation.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• +15 years of work experience in leading a business unit, major functional program, ideally with full P&L responsibility and commercial/business development focus.

• +12 years of people leadership experience, with experience in hiring and developing a team and influencing throughout an international organization.
