About the Role

We are seeking a Global Oil and Gas Development Director to drive business growth in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities in the oil and gas sector.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, fostering long-term collaboration.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry regulations to capitalize on new opportunities.
Vendor & Supplier Management
  • Source, evaluate, onboard, and manage vendors for corporate secretarial services, work visas, and operational needs.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and bankers, ensuring compliance and high-quality service delivery.
  • Monitor vendor performance and resolve cross-border procurement and operational challenges.
  • Negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and long-term partnerships.
Cross-Border Operations & Compliance
  • Ensure smooth cross-country operations, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee work visa arrangements and onboarding for employees across different regions.
  • Address compliance issues and regulatory requirements in various markets.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, vendor management, or procurement within the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong business network and proven ability to secure and manage high-value contracts with industry-leading clients.
  • Proficiency in Chinese (spoken and written) is required to communicate with Chinese-speaking stakeholders and vendors in a business environment.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely while meeting sales targets.
  • Experience in cross-border vendor management and procurement strategies.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in international markets is a plus.
