About this role

The Sales Leader is a key position responsible for driving enterprise growth through direct client contract value, retention, and expansion. This includes introducing new products and services to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with C-level executive clients to develop effective strategies that maximize Gartner's value delivery
  • Manage accounts to increase customer satisfaction, retention, and growth
  • Mastery of Gartner's internal sales methodology
  • Sales leadership through coaching, mentoring, and developing junior sales account executives
Requirements

We're seeking a highly experienced professional with:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's or advanced degree a plus
  • 7+ years of proven consultative sales experience in high technology (services, software, or hardware)
  • Able to prospect and manage C-level and senior-level relationships within large global enterprises
  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships, offering value-added insights and strategic vision
  • Knowledge of the full sales process from prospecting to close
What you'll need to succeed

You'll be comfortable selling to, influencing, and building trust-based relationships with senior executives. You must also be able to solve complex problems and successfully manage ambiguity and unexpected change.

Benefits and Compensation

We offer competitive base salaries, uncapped commissions, exceptional benefits, top training and support, and all-expense-paid luxury incentive trips for high performers. The estimated annual salary for this role is around $120,000-$180,000 depending on location and experience.
