Job Title: Desktop Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Desktop Technician/IT Support Specialist to join our team on a short-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provision and deploy proprietary Windows 11 images to new thin clients in a desktop factory workflow.
  • Perform device swap-outs, patching, and validation of custom applications tailored to business unit needs.
  • Ensure reliable connectivity with Multi-Function Devices (MFDs) and networked printers.
  • Deploy laptops, including Wi-Fi setup and connectivity testing.
  • Coordinate deployment schedules and communicate with stakeholders effectively.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Desktop Technician/IT Support Specialist or related role.
  • Basic understanding of IT systems or cloud/data center environments is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in using common tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and screenshot capture tools is necessary.
  • A strong sense of responsibility and reliability in following reporting protocols is essential.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver tasks on schedule is critical.
