Our client who focuses on green energy transition is looking for Engineering & Design Engineer to join their dynamic team in Singapore


Tender and Proposal Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with all stakeholders to produce and submit winning proposals in response to various solicitations (RFI, PPQ, ITT, RFP, etc.).
  • Deliver compliant, professionally crafted proposals within customer-defined deadlines.
  • Organize and lead bid kick-off meetings to align the team on objectives and strategies.
  • Define the bid cost structure with support from the Engineering team.
  • Manage interfaces with partners and clients to ensure cohesive communication and coordination.
  • Analyze contract requirements and conditions to ensure proposals meet all specifications.
  • Assist in defining the bid vendors list and evaluate and negotiate with suppliers/vendors for the best offers.
  • Prepare bidding documents for subcontractor RFQs.
  • Integrate proposal packages prepared by different operating companies and proposal partners, reconciling any discrepancies.
  • Clarify bid conditions and manage tender preparation processes.
  • Monitor bid management to ensure alignment with organizational requirements.
  • Contribute to cost and price calculations for competitive and accurate proposals.
  • Coordinate tender reviews and deadlines, adjusting them according to customer frameworks.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience with a proven record in the tendering process.
  • A degree in Engineering or an equivalent field.
  • Knowledge and experience with appropriate codes and standards (IEC, NEMA, BS, etc.).
  • Experience in energy storage technology would be advantageous.
