Director (Customer Service)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Customer Service to lead our operations across the Asia-Pacific (AP) region. Based in our Regional Headquarters in Singapore, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing customer service strategies, optimizing service delivery, and fostering talent development within the team.
Job Description/ Responsibilities
· Lead and manage customer service function across the AP region, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
· Monitor and analyze customer service performance metrics, providing insights and reports to HQ management and other relating organizations.
· Develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
· Identify opportunities for enhancing service efficiency and effectiveness, implementing best practices to improve customer satisfaction.
· Work closely with other divisions and headquarters to ensure cohesive service delivery and alignment with overall business strategies.
· Stay informed about the trends and customer needs in the consumer electronic industry to proactively adapt strategies.
Qualifications/ Requirements
· Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent qualifications.
· Minimum of 20 years’ experience in a multinational corporation (MNC) handling consumer electronic products.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing or sales will be highly advantageous.
· Experience managing 20 or more employees located in multiple places.
· Strong communication and project management skills, including being effective in working with internal and external stake holders with diverse cultures, background and locations on cross border projects impacting regional operations and HQ.
· Overseas travelling will be required.
· Effective influencing, organizational and problem-solving skills.
· Strong presentation skills and ability to write professionally.
· Proficiency in the Japanese language (JLPT N1) is strongly preferred to liaise with Japan HQ and Japanese management personnel based in the Asia Pacific region.
