About the DepartmentThe Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.
Personal Financial Services We design and provide products and services that empower our customers to enjoy greater banking convenience while they extract more value from their money. In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations.
Job ResponsibilitiesAs part of the Client Acquisition Team, you will acquire high affluent customers for UOB Privilege Banking. You will work closely with Privilege Banking Client Advisors (CAs) to provide and deliver a Total Wealth Management experience to new and existing high affluent clients.
Your Key Responsibilities Include- Actively identify, locate & acquire HNWIs to onboard and grow Privilege Banking franchise
- Responsible for acquisition of highly affluent clients with Asset Under Management of $350,000 and above, not restricted to Singapore resident via tele-prospecting, Networking and Privilege events
- Perform account opening and promote a suite of exclusive depository products and services
- Conduct KYC on New to Bank clients as part of bank's front line to detect and deter Money Laundering
- Establish Source of Wealth and Source of Funds to match against client profile
- Engage Banca First Touch(BFT) for all New-to-PV clients as part of holistic client onboarding journey ; Introduce concept of legacy planning ie Multiply /Safeguard / Distribute concepts
- Gather key info on client using FORMHD concept via First Touch Mail (FTM) to CA and HNW specialists for in-depth wealth conversations & NTW activation.
- Provide timely and efficient processing on account opening and other account-related matters.
- Ensure compliance and legal guidelines are adhered to with all internal policies and external regulations
- At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the banking / financial industry, experienced in financial & investment product sales.
- Self-motivated, with strong sales drive and energy
- Track record of excellence
- Ability to converse in foreign language would be an advantage
- A recognized university degree.
