Overall job objectives

  • Work with the Business Development Director in the overall planning for sales
  • Responsible for the sales and profitability objectives
  • Customer relationship management

Core responsibilities

  • Research, explore and recommend new opportunities for the HORECA/Food Service sector.
  • Organise and plan sales visits, with/without appointments.
  • Establish contact and develop relationships with prospects.
  • Present service and product offerings, tailored to customized solutions, to prospects.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information
  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance.
  • Work closely with management team to ensure all operational, administrative, and compliance functions within the company are being properly executed in accordance to regulatory-based best practices.
  • Work with the Operations & Marketing department to ensure sales targets are met
  • Plan quarterly objectives and key results
  • Implementation of projects that will assist in the company’s sales
  • Establish a professional relationship with clients, internal staff and external vendors
  • Stay up to date on industry regulations and trends
  • Any ad hoc duties as required

Job specifications

  • Good understanding of the food and beverage industry is required
  • Team player with a positive learning attitude and competent in the field of sales and marketing
  • To have a customer-centric approach
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Word and Excel to generate reports
  • Demonstrate ability to handle work professionally, independently and efficiently with a strong customer service mindset
  • Possess effective organizational and follow-up skills, results oriented and pays attention to detail
