Senior Executive, Academic Administration Support

This position reports directly to the Associate Chair (Academic), School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE), for all operational matters and secretariat functions under the Academic office. The incumbent will also work closely with the Assistant Chair (Academic) and Assistant Chair (Graduate Office) for other related issues.

Responsibilities:Oversee the operational activities in Academic Office, including maintaining and monitoring of the AC(Academic) role-based email accountIn-charge of Declaration for 'conflict of interest for exam' for MAEOversee the whole process of submission of undergraduate examination question papersOverall in-charge of the exam invigilation and marks processing for MAEOversee the whole process of Pre-Board of Examiner & Board of Examiner meetings to ensure that all reports and marks are in orderIn-charge of students' appeal to review exam resultsResponsible for the whole process of supplementary examination, including planning of date of exam, venue for exam, exam formatting, appointing invigilators and marks processing.Represent MAE to attend meetings on examination matters and exam audit checkTeam member (Admin) of accreditation, exam matters related to Covid and all other ad-hoc projects in Academic Office

Requirements:Diploma, preferably in a related field of studyMinimum 5 years of working experience in the education industry is preferredGood experience in academic matters, students and curriculum would be an added advantageGood understanding of curriculum, students and examination mattersPerformance and results drivenGood written, communication skills, collaboration and teamworkGood in general computing skills, e.g. MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software
