Position Title: Academic Manager
Location: Singapore
Reporting To: Partner Liaison & Operations Director
Travel Requirement: Occasional travel required per annum

The Opportunity:
Join a dynamic team at the forefront of global education as our Academic Manager. You'll supporting academic and curriculum development and its implementation, working closely with the Academic Associate Director, and the Partner Liaison and Operations Director for existing business partnerships.

Responsibilities: Support academic and curriculum development improvements, collaborating with the Academic Associate Director. Maintain academic quality and conduct quality assurance checks, ensuring compliance with UK and local legislation. Contribute to assessment content and update existing programmes in collaboration with the Curriculum Team. Liaise with universities, moderators, examiners, and partners to support academic processes and BAU activities. Review and recommend enhancements to academic capabilities and integrity processes. Verify entry and progression requirements with universities, ensuring they are fit for purpose. Deliver refresher training on curriculum and academic aspects, and coach on observation and teacher development. Collaborate with the Compliance, Quality, and Progression Manager to implement and manage a quality assurance framework. Support program effectiveness and student progression, facilitating strong student outcomes. Maintain effective partnership relationships, delivering regular training and resolving issues professionally. Engage with partners and internal stakeholders to nurture relationships and inspire confidence. Utilize technology to enhance teaching, learning experiences, and provide access to educational resources. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across academic programmes, operations, and methodologies. Your Experience and Skills: Relevant undergraduate degree in education, business administration or similar, with postgraduate qualifications preferred. A skilled communicator and relationship manager that has managed partnership relationships at an executive or senior management levels in the international education or related sector. Leader of small to medium sized teams. Strong understanding of academic, compliance, quality assurance and progression functions and in particular compliance needs in partner countries, such as China and SE Asia. Capable project manager and good organisational skills. Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese, proficiency in other languages desirable.
