Sales Representative

Our company is searching for entry-level sales representatives to drive revenues for our world-class business conferences and sell-out live events. Worldwide Business Research ( WBR ) has over 120 annual events in operation, and we are looking to expand the attendee acquisition team to support new launches and repeat events.
Door-to-door sales, retail sales, or call center experience is a plus.
This is an inside telesales position that requires a high volume of cold calling into mid-level managers up to C-level executives in various industries — from finance to eCommerce to procurement. Your primary responsibility is to sell attendee passes or event tickets for our corporate events and also be an account manager for your clients ahead of the event.
Our training program will teach you everything you need to know about buy-side sales for business conferences so that you can not only earn a considerable amount of money but also move up within the organization to senior sales or sales management positions.

REQUIREMENTS
Comfortable selling on the phone and conversing with others Values patience and appreciates the process of working through a sales cycle Has inside and/or outside sales experience (i.e., retail, support, tech) Someone who is financially driven and enjoys a challenge Keenly interested in B2B sales (business-to-business) Has earned a degree or certification is preferred Propensity to learn and develop Local to Singapore is preferredThe Day-to-Day Snapshot:
Call business executives and pitch them on attending our sell-out live events Search for new leads online in addition to the leads provided by our marketers Manage client relationships post-sale and secure re-bookings for next year Track sales updates and run reports in our CRM database Attend business events and meet clients onsite Beat revenue goals and other KPIs laid out by management Follow up with the executives by email and phoneThe “Ideal” Candidate:
