**Purpose of the role**
- To grow and expand relationship with the govt.(in terms of operations, new products, new geographies and revenue generation)_
- To provide strategic & tactical support to the Head-Japan AMT in managing the overall business of Japan MOFA globally as well as growing business across regions with respect to Account Management, Business Development and negotiation of contracts._
- Identify new avenues of business growth including with Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Labor and other Ministries._

- Plan, direct and manage the performance of all Japan MOFA operations, so as to maintain and develop business growth in accordance with the overall strategy of the company.
- Acquire maintain strong understanding of the client govt its relevant policies, its requirements, its special sensitivities & priorities

**Business Development**:
- Identify new sources to generate revenues & develop strategies for business enhancement or development
- Develop and maintain relationship of the highest order with Japan MOFA
- Assist VFS Global in qualifying as an Authorized Visa Agent (AVA) for China
- Identify and develop potential business opportunities with regards to the upcoming Olympics in 2020
- Identify and develop new opportunities for labour visa with Japan MOFA
- Appoint new franchise partners and develop business relationships with existing franchise partners in different countries/region
- Acquire new contracts along with the Business Development team
- End-to-end overall responsibility for the client govt.
- Acquire & maintain strong understanding of the client govt., its relevant policies, its requirements, its special sensitivities & priorities.
- Successful bid management (winning new bids/re-tenders/extensions)
- Extension of current contract (wherever possible)
- Business development-selling new products and services
- Crisis management (joint responsibility with Regional Ops)

**Financial Management**:
- Ensure achievement of EBITA (Financial goals) set for the Unit / Department
- Successful bid management (winning new bids re-tenders extensions). Extension of current contract (wherever possible)

**Compliance**:
- Ensure adherence to prescribed procedures set down by Japanese MOFA
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies, policies and practices for Japan MOFA
- Ensure that operating objectives and standards of performance are in place & ownership is known to employees
- Ensure compliance to the information security policies & procedures as applicable to the role

**Quality & Process enhancements**:
- Project roll out delivering the project efficiently on time, on budget and to the satisfaction of the client govt.
- Implement, maintain and manage an effective system of controls for monitoring operational performance and achievement of targets. SLA management control monitor performance across all countries of ops constantly initiate corrective action expeditiously as a joint responsibility with Regional Ops
- Encourage and support the products team in innovating newer systems that may help enhance performance and profitability
- Ensure continuous improvements through innovation and process enhancements leading to cost effectiveness
**Risk Management**:
- Ensure maintenance of the highest standards of safety and security
- Crisis management (joint responsibility with Regional Ops)
- Ensure that all Visa Application Centres comply in terms of processes laid down by the MOFA

- Implement effective succession planning, people management, development, recruitment, and retention strategies.
- Ensure personal & professional development of team & provide for necessary trainings, seminars, sessions etc.

**Salary**: $7,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month
