Senior Assistant Director/Deputy Director

You will support the Clinical and Administrative Director by leading and managing all administrative and operational functions (manpower pipeline, workplan, budget planning, etc) of the Office of Value Driven Care (OVDC). You will coordinate and oversee cross functional resources to ensure a high functioning team whereby resources are adequately allocated. Together with the managers in the department, you will drive and maintain work plan administration and ensure good progress of all project timelines, identify potential problems and devise contingency plans to minimize implementation delays.

You will also be responsible for managing relationships with key stakeholders within the department/division as well as other stakeholders in the institution / cluster, collaborate with other functional groups within the hospital to support value improvement in the institution and to support the Directors in driving initiatives that will position SGH as thought leader in patient safety and quality improvement.

Job Requirements


• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in healthcare related fields.


• Has a minimum of 12 years' relevant work experience, with at least 6 years in a supervisory / management capacity.


• A team player with excellent interpersonal, communication, coordination, and time management skills.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office.


• Understanding of biostatistics, statistical tools and data visualization software is preferred.


• Experience in quality, process improvement, data analytics, clinical audit, or patient safety are essential.


• Good stakeholder management and strong interpersonal skills, meticulous and responsible.


• Effective presentation and organizational skills.
