Positions:

Wok Chef / 炒锅师傅

Key Responsibilities:

  • Skillfully prepare and cook Chinese stir-fry dishes according to our standard recipes and quality expectations
  • Control wok temperature, portioning, and plating of hot dishes
  • Collaborate closely with kitchen team for timing and order flow
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety at wok station
  • Assist with kitchen prep when needed
Cutter / Preparation Chef / 切配师傅

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertly cut, slice, portion, and marinate meat, seafood, and vegetables for daily operations
  • Handle defrosting, trimming, and prep based on kitchen production needs
  • Assist in inventory and proper storage of raw materials
  • Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and consistency of prep output

Requirements for both positions:

  • Prior experience in cutting or butchery roles in restaurant or central kitchen (Prep Chef / Cutter)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a busy Chinese kitchen (Wok Chef/Cook)
  • Strong wok handling and heat control skills (Wok Chef/Cook)
  • Skilled in knife work and safe food handling practices
  • Familiar with Chinese food prep standards
  • Team player and willing to assist chefs as needed
  • Physically fit and able to work under heat and pressure
  • Able to work weekends and public holidays
  • Chinese-speaking preferred due to kitchen communication
