
Master Wok Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing oil temperature with precision, executing consistent frying quality and handling multiple dishes simultaneously. The Wok Cook will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and maintain oil clarity at all times. They will also follow oil change schedules and use safety tools to prevent splashes or burns.
In addition to these key responsibilities, the successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to read kitchen tickets in English and Chinese and report shortages or hazards immediately. They will also be expected to maintain a cooperative work environment and support team needs as directed by the Head Chef or Duty Chef.
Requirements- At least 3 years of experience in a Chinese and/or Seafood restaurant kitchen wok station.
- Attain a valid WSQ Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Be a team player and possess a learning and growth mindset in terms of knowledge and skillsets.
- Be comfortable working weekends, public holidays and extended hours as scheduled.
To succeed in this role, you must be able to work under pressure efficiently and safely. You should also be bilingual in English and Mandarin and possess strong problem-solving skills. If you are a skilled Wok Cook who is looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply.
