    The restaurant will focus on Weddings and Corporate events, alongside à la carte offerings
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Premium Hotel or Restaurant Kitchens or Kakeries, with proficiency in:

  • Wedding cakes

  • Local and Malay pastries
  • Western pastries
  • Must be capable of cooking for Banquets, serving 300–500 pax per session

  • Kindly indicate your proficiency in the above pastries and your experience handling Banquets in your CV

  • Salary: $2,500 - $3,500/month, based on years of relevant experience (Candidates with extensive experience may be considered above this range)

  • Work Schedule: 6 days a week, 1 off day (typically Monday or Tuesday)
  • Working Hours: Depends on Banquet/Event requirements
  • Allowances: Accommodation Allowance (to be arranged if shortlisted)
  • Meals: Provided
  • Nearest MRT: Tanah Merah station (shuttle bus service is available to and from the restaurant)

Job Scope:

  • Bake authentic Malay & local pastries (e.g. kuih, ondeh ondeh) and Western-style cakes (e.g. chiffon, buttercream)
  • Work at scale, with daily production volumes that may reach hundreds of portions
  • Balance traditional techniques with modern presentation and taste
  • Cross-collaborate with the kitchen team to develop seasonal or celebratory items
  • Maintain hygiene and food safety (mandatory with food handling in Singapore)

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of prior experience in Malay/local pastry and Western cake preparation
  • Ability to handle high-volume output while hitting quality and presentation standards
  • Rigorous hygiene discipline, with knowledge of local food safety regulations and best practices
  • Creative flair for both flavour and presentation
  • Adaptability and speed under pressure, especially during peak service periods

After the 1st Interview (Virtual), there will be a Tasting Session where candidates are required to showcase their signature dishes.
