We are seeking a hands-on and experienced HR Manager (Generalist) to establish and lead the full HR function for our growing client. As the HR Manager, you will play a critical role in building foundational HR structures — including policies, processes, compliance, talent acquisition, and employee experience.
This is a strategic and operational role ideal for a resourceful individual who thrives in fast-paced and is confident managing all aspects of HR independently.
Location:West (Benoi) Working days: 5 days Working hours: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Responsibilities:
HR Operations:
- Manage full-cycle monthly payrolls, including CPF submissions and other statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in accordance with local employment laws and internal standards.
- Handle leave administration, medical claims, and insurance matters.
HR Policy & Compliance
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook to ensure clarity, consistency, and legal compliance.
- Stay updated with local employment laws and ensure all practices comply with MOM and statutory requirements.
- Manage work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations for foreign employees.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process including job postings, screening, interviews, and selection.
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as the primary HR contact for employees on all HR-related matters.
- Handle grievances, conflicts, and provide HR advisory to management and staff.
- Support employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
HR Reporting & Administration
- Maintain HR documentation and generate reports for management when needed.
- Liaise with outsourced IT vendors on HR system needs and basic system administration (if required).
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 4–6 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in an SME or logistics/supply chain environment.
- Proven experience managing full HR Spectrum independently.
- Solid understanding of Singapore employment law and HR best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized, meticulous, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
