About the role

As a Business Development Executive at Hello Travel Pte. Ltd., you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth and expansion efforts. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities within the dynamic travel industry. This is a full-time position based in the Downtown Core Central Region of Singapore.

What you'll be doing

  • Proactively identify and reach out to potential clients, including corporate, leisure, and niche travel segments
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of sales leads through effective prospecting and networking activities
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations that showcase Hello Travel's unique offerings and value proposition
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term business relationships
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement targeted sales and marketing strategies
  • Continuously monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new growth opportunities
  • Provide regular sales activity reports and contribute to the overall sales planning and forecasting

What we're looking for

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a business development or sales role within the travel industry
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients at all levels
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills to overcome objections and close deals
  • Proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) tools and sales automation software
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for the travel industry and a drive to succeed
  • Degree in Business, Tourism, or a related field is preferred
