Core Duties

  • Sales Supervision: Engage retail store teams, provide coaching and supervise their efforts to achieve daily / monthly sales targets.
  • Performance Management: Generate and analyse sales reports, identify performance trends / gaps and recommend actions to drive store growth
  • Staff Rostering & Operations: Plan and manage retail staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage and operational effectiveness. Respond promptly to any disruptions to the roster.
  • Store Upkeep & Image: Maintain standards for product display / visual merchandising, conduct store inspections, ensure store conditions provide a pleasant shopping environment, and oversee store repair / rennovation as well as maintenance of IT / payment system issues.
  • Business Development: Source and follow-up on potential sales leads for wholesale and corporate accounts. Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to develop and execute store-level initiatives to boost product category sales.

Note: although this role has a 5-day work week that is primarily office-based, it may require providing event set-up support which may occasionally (though not frequently) occur on a weekend / PH due to the event schedule.

Requirements

  • 3 years of relevant operational experience -- supervising small teams in a retail or hospitality sector
  • Relevant degree / diploma in Retail Studies, Business, Marketing, Hospitality or Event Management
  • Familiar with using Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel
  • Performance driven, teamwork mindset, interpersonal skills, and able to meet deadlines
  • Reliable and proactive in preventing and fixing issues affecting smooth retail operations
