- Develop and execute the sales strategy for specialty chemical products in assigned territories/markets.
- Identify and develop new customers, applications, and markets.
- Manage and grow existing key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets, profit margins, and growth objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Provide technical and commercial support to customers, coordinating with technical teams as needed.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts in line with company policy.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, R&D, and supply chain to align sales efforts with company capabilities and market demand.
- Report on sales performance, forecasts, pipeline activity, and market intelligence.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to promote products and build relationships.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Minimum [3] years of sales experience in the specialty chemicals sector.
- Strong technical understanding of chemical formulations and applications (e.g., coatings, personal cares, pharma, cosmetics, food, etc.).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel .
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with multinational clients or within global chemical markets.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., REACH, GHS, etc.).
- Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office Suite.
