Responsibilities:
Regional Sales & Distribution Strategy
- Spearheaded the deployment of tailored strategies to drive distribution sales growth across the region, ensuring robust product representation and sustainable channel partnerships.
- Secured and maintained regional distribution agreements, aligning with business objectives and market dynamics.
- Developed and executed annual sales plans for both direct and distribution channels to meet growth targets.
- Monitored monthly progress against strategic positioning plans, adjusting tactics to optimize performance.
- Stayed ahead of industry trends—economic, technological, and competitive—within target markets.
- Identified new business opportunities and application areas to expand market reach.
- Led product management initiatives and crafted strategic positioning plans tailored for the ASEAN region.
- Provided timely insights to management on competitor products, pricing strategies, market developments, and innovation trends through regular reporting.
- Provided leadership and mentorship to Field Sales and Product Managers across ASEAN, driving profitability and growth.
- Leveraged skills in placement, motivation, training, and development to build high-performing sales teams.
- Designed and implemented marketing and sales promotion programs for Distributors and OEM customers.
- Developed and delivered training programs to support channel partners and enhance product knowledge.
- Oversaw sourcing activities, ensuring procurement from qualified and approved suppliers to maintain product quality and supply chain efficiency.
Requirements
- Degree in Material Science education background or relate areas of study with minimum 8-10 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, business development, or Product Management.
- Exposure to Value Added activities and Life Science applications are highly desired.
- Possess knowledge of management, marketing principles, industry practices, company and competitor products and service capabilities, business and operational processes including proposal development, contract negotiations, and program management etc.
- Excellent technical / engineering comprehension and knowledge of related products groups.
- Able to lead people and obtain results, capability to organize and manage multiple priorities within a dynamic matrix organization.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, abilities to effectively and persuasively present information to top management, customers, and employees.
