Automotive industry includes various sectors in automotive supply chain. Our focus remains with automotive components and aftermarket parts business development. The scope includes identifying new markets, developing strategies, curating supply chain solutions, building relationships with clients/potential clients, and driving sales growth. Key responsibilities often involve market and competitor analysis on such services, collaborating with internal teams, and providing technical knowledge of supply chain challenges and distribution. Qualifications typically require a bachelor's degree, experience in the automotive industry, and strong communication and data analysis skills.
Job summary
- Drive revenue growth and market share expansion in the automotive parts an aftermarket parts sector.
- Develop and implement business plans and strategies for new and existing markets.
- Manage the full product lifecycle, from concept and launch to market positioning and sales execution.
Key responsibilities
- Market analysis: Conduct comprehensive market and competitor analysis to form business strategy.
- Strategy development: Identify new business opportunities, develop market entry strategies, and expand market share.
- Product management: Take ownership of assigned sectors, including managing across sectors in automotive industry development and recommending cross sectional initiatives to build capabilities.
- Relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers/potential customers, suppliers, principals, and internal sales teams.
- Sales and revenue growth: Achieve aggressive sales targets and drive revenue growth through new business acquisition and effective relationship management.
- Training: Provide technical training to internal teams to ensure effective knowledge on services and value creation.
- Data analysis: Use data analysis tools and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint to support business strategies and track performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in automotive aftermarket sales, automotive manufacturing, automotive channel sales and business development.
- Proven track record in regional market expansion beyond country of operation.
- Technical and product knowledge in the automotive industry will be added advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and other data analysis tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
