The role is accountable for driving profitable growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing sustainable new business opportunities, including sourcing high-quality prospects, cultivating strong and influential relationships with senior stakeholders, and leading the development and negotiation of compelling tenders and proposals.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to drive retention and satisfaction.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities and strategic partnerships to expand market presence.
  • Generate new revenue streams and grow the customer base through targeted outreach and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to support new business ventures and market expansion.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with potential clients to strengthen the sales pipeline.
  • Support the Country Manager by delivering key insights for performance reviews, budgeting, and strategic planning.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and business growth.
  • Achieve business objectives within assigned industry verticals through effective planning and execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience in the logistics sector.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a talent for influencing stakeholders and articulating complex operational concepts.
  • Deep expertise in transport and warehouse management, with a proven ability to optimize operations and drive efficiency.
  • Strong track record of exceeding sales targets, accelerating revenue growth, and managing high-value client portfolios with precision.
  • Advanced skills in stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Highly proactive, adaptable, and target-driven, with a "hunter" mindset and relentless focus on identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities.
