Assistant Business Development Manager

We are hiring an experienced and motivated Business Development professional to support our client's growth within the institutional catering sector. The role requires strong commercial awareness, a solid understanding of the catering or food service industry, and the ability to identify and secure new business opportunities.
What You'll Do:
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in the institutional catering (B2B) market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders for long-term collaboration.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to support strategic planning and identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and tender submissions, collaborating with internal teams to deliver competitive solutions.
- Develop and implement business plans, pricing models, and contract strategies to achieve revenue targets and profitability.
- Gather market intelligence and provide insights to enhance service offerings and business performance.
What You Bring:
- 5 years of experience in business development or commercial management within the institutional catering or food service industry
- Strong understanding of market structures, tender processes, and client requirements
- Proven track record in driving business growth and managing key accounts
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Analytical mindset with strong financial and commercial sense
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools
- Possess own transport and able to travel for client meetings
