Regional Sales & Marketing Director (Gaming) – APAC (Based in Hong Kong)
Our client is seeking a strategic Regional Sales & Marketing Director to lead the APAC growth . You will drive revenue, market share, and brand dominance across mobile/PC/console gaming markets. This role combines data-driven sales leadership with performance marketing expertise to scale user acquisition, monetization, and partner ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue Growth & Market Expansion
- Own APAC P&L, achieving quarterly sales targets across key markets
- Forge partnerships with publishers, platforms (Apple/Google/Steam), telcos, and IP holders to boost distribution.
- Lead pricing/packaging strategies for localized monetization (subscriptions, in-app purchases, ads).
2. Marketing Leadership
- Oversee 360° campaigns (performance, influencer, CRM, esports) to optimize CAC and LTV.
- Localize messaging for cultural relevance
- Leverage data to refine UA strategies and retention loops.
3. Team & Operations
- Manage high-performing teams (sales, marketing, analytics) for APAC markets.
- Align with studios on product roadmaps using market insights (genre trends, competitor analysis).
- Mentor talent in growth hacking and agile execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree with 10+ years in gaming sales/marketing, with 7+ years in APAC leadership.
- Gaming experience is a MUST
- Large team management experience is a MUST
- Fluency in English + 1 Asia language (Chinese/ Japanese preferred).
- Open for relocate to Hong Kong
