**About this role**:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Foreign Exchange Sales Director to join the growing Singapore front office team. Wells Fargo is looking to strategically grow its footprint with Institutional clients in FX globally and in APAC and this role is a key part of that initiative.

**In this role, you will**:

- Responsible for covering institutional clients on Foreign exchanges products with a focus on Real Money clients
- Execute the coverage strategic plan set by management team to grow the APAC FX business in medium and long term by onboarding strategically important clients to the platform
- Deliver financial results and market share of our client franchise
- Develop and grow the current client base, develop strong partnership with our clients
- Proactively identify client opportunities for the current platform, provide feedback on customer demand and make recommendations to drive product innovation
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal trading desks, as well as multiple internal partners, including Regional Management, Risk, Compliance, Products, and the Global Macro Sales and trading team.
- Operate with high diligence according to the internal risk and control framework

**Required Qualifications**:

- Experience in Foreign exchange sales, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

**Desired Qualifications**:

- University Degree or advanced qualifications and equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an Institutional Sales role or a client servicing role, preferably in FX.
- Good knowledge of FX products and solutions including electronic FX.
- Network of institutional clients in Greater China.
- Strong sense of urgency and commitment as well as a strong business sense with a strategic and tactical orientation.
- Good understanding of technological, risk and regulatory trends impacting FX business
- Ability to analyze data and use for decision-making and managing initiatives.
- Highest level of integrity and good judgement and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong commercial judgement, excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Fluency in Mandarin/Cantonese is required for managing Chinese-speaking client relationships.
- Comfortable working in a matrix organizational environment and partnership skills.
