Foreign Exchange (FX) Director

Location: Singapore (hybrid)

Permanent role - Full time

Our client is the world’s leading omni-method global payment solution, with over 350+ payment methods over 5 continents focused on empowering the borderless growth of the world’s top grossing digital merchants in developed markets.

With their HQ in Singapore, they are the emerging markets’ leading regulated digital payment providers servicing online merchants that have ambition beyond borders. They are looking for a FX Director in Singapore to take their business to the next level and manage the FX team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Establish Foreign Exchange management framework according to short-term and long-term business strategy
- Work with product/tech team to build up Foreign Exchange system and infrastructure
- Utilize various approaches to manage Foreign Exchange exposure especially exotic currencies to mitigate the risk for company and clients
- Work closely with external partners like banks and other financial institutions, as well as internal teams including operations, liquidity management, business development, etc. to reduce the Foreign Exchange cost thus providing more competitive service to clients
- Explore and design competent standard Foreign Exchange product/service and Foreign Exchange derivatives according to the business requirements

**Requirements**:

- At least 5-year Foreign Exchange solution relevant experience in financial institutions or payment industry
- Knowledge and understanding about cross-border payment especially in emerging markets is advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, while Mandarin is a plus.
- Self-motivated and adaptable to fast-paced working environment
- Good team player and management experience
