Commercial Excellence Specialist, APAC Energy
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement commercial excellence strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute comprehensive commercial excellence strategies aligned with company goals, market trends, and customer needs. Drive continuous improvement and innovation in commercial processes, systems, and tools.- Salesforce effectiveness: Collaborate with the sales team to enhance salesforce effectiveness by defining sales processes, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Provide guidance on pipeline management, opportunity assessment, and salesforce training to maximize sales productivity.- Performance monitoring and reporting: Establish metrics and dashboards to monitor commercial performance, track progress against targets, and identify areas of improvement. Generate regular reports and presentations for management, highlighting key insights, trends, and recommendations.- Commercial operations optimization: Streamline commercial processes and systems to improve operational efficiency. Identify areas for automation, standardization, and process improvement. Implement tools and technologies that enable seamless collaboration, data analysis, and reporting across sales, marketing, and customer service functions.- Pipeline Management: Take a lead role in managing the revenue/opportunity pipeline and driving its efficiency. Work closely with the sales team to ensure accurate forecasting, opportunity management, and deal closure. Develop and implement processes to monitor the progress of opportunities through the pipeline, identify bottlenecks, and proactively address potential risks or delays. Collaborate with sales representatives to develop strategies for accelerating pipeline velocity and increasing conversion rates. Continuously analyse pipeline data to provide insights and recommendations for optimizing sales performance and achieving revenue targets.
Key Success Criteria’s / KPIs- Leads generation & conversion by activities and revenue- CRM, Quotation Platform & commercial sales (e-commerce) platform performance and support activities- Change Management (Process & Behavioural)- Team support & Strong Cross Functional Collaboration- Commercial Tools development (Regional Toolkit)- Scalable Revenue/Cost Operations
Required education, experience and job-related skills- Degree / MBA in Business, finance, engineering or related disciplines. Ideally past experience in Consulting (MBB or Big4)- Min. 3-4 years in Commercial Excellence, Process design, Commercial operations, change management, Business Intelligence & Data Analytics- Familiar with Asia Pacific and Global environment (Cultures, economies, industries and markets)- High proficiency in overall computer skills required: Excel (VBA / Macros), CRM (SFDC and Dynamics 365) and analytics tools (Tableau / Microsoft Power BI, Athena ). Microsoft Excel / PPT / D365 / CRM certified is a plus- Strong knowledge in Lead generation, Pipeline Management, sales process and commercial excellence.- A past experience in trainings, change management, and team work at regional level would be a plus- High capacity in data translation with a “Beyond the Obvious” mindset.- Work experience in Coatings / Marine / Oil & Gas / Industrial / Chemical is preferred and other B2B industrial experience is a plus- Good communication (written & oral) and presentation skills- Excellent Planning and Project Management skills
