About the Team
As a senior member of the APJ Integrated Marketing team you will drive awareness of the Workday Platform and Products within the office of the CHRO across APJ.
You will collaborate with an exceptional team across multiple countries in APJ while championing Workday's core Values of Customer Service, Employee Engagement, Innovation, Integrity, Profitability, & FUN
About the Role
**Job Description**:
Workday is looking for an marketing manager to develop and implement strategic marketing campaigns into the Office of the CHRO across the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region. This is a new position and an excellent opportunity at a fast-growing, US-based software company that is rapidly expanding. Workday has an expanding set of solutions that are highly relevant to this audience, and this role will be responsible for creating awareness, education, and demand campaigns.
As the Marketing manager for the office of the CHRO, you will work closely with local country marketing teams, APJ business counterparts in Business Development, Sales and Professional Services, as well as our global marketing team. You will need to have an entrepreneurial spirit and be ready to roll your sleeves up and build from the ground up, creating and delivering fully integrated campaigns that capture the interest of Chief Human Resources Officers and their organizations, and are locally relevant in a diverse set of markets.
Specific Responsibilities include:
- Tightly integrate with the global and local marketing teams, plus the sales team on a regular basis to drive planning and execution, ensuring timely and open communication channels.- Understanding local market requirements across APJ and building out campaigns that can be leveraged across different geographies.- Align Marketing plans for the office of the CHRO to Workday APJ’s business priorities.- Develop annual marketing plan for the region designed to create awareness and build pipeline for Workday’s solutions across Financials, HCM, planning and other specialized products.- Identify audience segmentation strategy; vehicle and media mix recommendation, timing and forecast of results.- In partnership with local country marketing leaders across the region, drive integrated marketing campaigns from inception to optimization with a cross-functional corporate marketing team based in APJ and the US. This will include demand generation, brand awareness, events, field marketing, web/online marketing, communications, and creative services.- Work with appropriate groups (product marketing, sales and strategy) to develop appropriate messaging platforms, content, and stories from which to build campaigns.- Manage local external agencies as required.- Analyze campaign performance and make recommendations for optimization and future enhancements.- Manage project budgets and take responsibility for tracking and monitoring campaign spend.- Assess and execute on partner marketing opportunities, as available and as required.
About You
Results-driven marketing professional with a proven ability to deliver commitments on time while achieving or exceeding business goals.
Experience.- 5+ years successful related marketing experience, preferably in a SaaS, enterprise software, cloud environment- Knowledge of the office of CHRO preferred.- Strategically minded but willing to be very hands on and get programs executed, in partnership with each sub-region in APJ- Proven ability to effectively execute integrated, streamlined marketing programs that drive pipeline.- Ability to work with people at all levels of an organization including executive management, sales, and marketing.- A business degree or equivalent- Experience working with a US-based company across multiple markets.
