Chef de Partie Role
Our kitchen is seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of seafood dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook seafood dishes to the highest standard, adhering to our menu planning and recipe development procedures.
- Maintain high levels of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
- Assist the head chef in developing new menu items and improving existing ones, incorporating seasonal ingredients and staying up-to-date with culinary trends.
- Control food costs and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient inventory levels.
- Deliver exceptional results in terms of kitchen techniques, recipe execution, and food presentation.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience as a Chef de Partie in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge and skills in seafood cuisine, with a passion for creating high-quality dishes that exceed customer expectations.
- Ability to work well under pressure, with excellent time-management skills and attention to detail in a busy kitchen setting.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage the team effectively.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen at all times.
