Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable individual to support the sale of ships, driving business development and deal execution across the maritime sector. This role involves managing the full sales cycle of ship transactions, from lead generation to client presentations, negotiations, and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify and engage potential buyers, shipowners, brokers, and marine stakeholders locally and internationally to drive sales opportunities.
2. Develop and maintain relationships within the maritime network to facilitate business growth.
3. Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and vessel documentation to meet client expectations.
4. Stay updated on market trends, vessel availability, and buyer demands to provide informed advice to clients.
5. Coordinate internally with technical and operations teams to ensure seamless client service.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should possess prior experience in shipbroking, vessel sales, chartering, or a relevant role in the marine industry. A good understanding of vessel types, specifications, sales processes, and market dynamics is essential. Additionally, strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills are required. You should also be proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
