
Sales Manager

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Business Development**Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities within the maritime industry.
Build and expand relationships with shipowners, operators, shipyards, and other maritime stakeholders.
- **Sales Strategy & Execution**Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Prepare and present sales proposals and negotiate contracts with clients.
- **Customer Relationship Management**Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
Maintain and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients.
- **Market Analysis**Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify business opportunities and stay ahead of market developments.
Provide insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.
- **Collaboration & Reporting**Work closely with internal teams, including operations, technical, and marketing, to ensure seamless service delivery.
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management.
**Requirements**:
- **Experience**:Minimum **5 years of sales experience**in the maritime industry
- **Industry Knowledge**:Strong understanding of the maritime industry, including shipping, logistics, and port operations.
Familiarity with maritime regulations, compliance, and operational challenges.
- **Skills**:Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
Strong relationship-building abilities and a customer-centric approach.
- **Education**:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
Professional certifications in maritime or sales are a plus.
- **Other**:Willingness to travel regionally/globally to meet clients and attend industry events.
